I want to share the fantastic time we had today with Stuart from Climb365.
I called him the day before as we were up visiting family and hoping that we could do a bit of abseiling with my father in law as he used to do it over 20 years ago.
We have two girls aged 8 and 13. He was able to do a private session and from the very start, found him to be great with my kids, having a laugh, friendly banter and most importantly was very professional and always had safety in mind which kept my wife (who was very nervous)at ease.
She loved it and would now do it again. We did a practice shorter wall before going onto a stunning 40+Mtr face, walking through caves/tunnels which just added to the family fun. Stuart also matched the pace of our learning so we could stretch ourselves if we wanted to. Will absolutely use this guy again. Awesome

Abseiling Lake District

We’ve seen it all! From terrified to confident, beginner to expert or young to old, Abseiling Lake District is something everyone can have a go at a level that suits them. We know our local area really well and the best venues for each group. At each venue, we rig all the abseils ourselves so we can choose the appropriate route for you.

We will teach you all you need to know for your session including how to use a harness, tie in and use the abseil device. You’ll abseil yourself down the route with our instructor using a safety back up.

Abseiling Lake District

You don’t need any experience or prior knowledge to have a great half-day session Abseiling Lake District. If you’ve abseiled before and want something a bit more challenging, that’s not a problem….We know some scary abseils too!

Abseils vary in length from 10 to 45m so there’s something for everyone to have a go at.

Please choose level 1 for beginners or level 2 for more challenging abseils at the point of booking.

The best venues are near Ambleside, Coniston or Keswick.

We usually use the stunning and historic slate quarries and often meet groups at the Brittania Inn in Elterwater, Langdale.

We’ll then head to the best venue choice for the day.

We will send you directions on a PDF at point of booking.

Abseiling Lake District

Half-day sessions run as follows:
Morning 9:30 am to 12:30 pm – Afternoon 1:30 pm to 4:30pm. That’s three full hours of activity.

Full-day sessions run as follows:
9:30 am to 4:30 pm. That’s seven full hours of activity.

We realise how valuable your time is and this reflects in our attention to giving you a full session. We always get to the meeting venue early, arrange our kit and make sure we are ready to go. This enables us to optimise the contact time with you, giving you real value for money and attention to your experience.

Half-day activities are really fun and do combine very well with other activities. E.g. many people book rock climbing or abseiling in the morning and ghyll scrambling or canyoning in the afternoon.

The kit we provide:

We provide all the technical gear e.g. helmets, harnesses & ropes etc.

Do you need to bring anything?

Appropriate clothes for the weather. Always worth putting in a warm jumper and a waterproof jacket.
You can wear trainers or walking boots.
It’s worth bringing a drink and snack for during your session and if it’s hot and sunny a cap and sun cream.
Plan for the worst and hope for the best.

Oh and bring a camera because the views are spectacular.

We provide private activities sessions solely for you, your family & your friends.

You are NOT joined to any other group.

We believe in delivering high-quality instruction and have found our clients prefer the benefit of the activity being just for them and the personal service this enables.

Our staff are highly experienced and fully qualified, allowing them to focus on giving you the best experience.

All technical kit included. No hidden costs.
We work on a max group size of 1 instructor to 8 clients. We will provide as many instructors as your group needs.

Your private session costs £250 for the instructor and includes up to 5 people.
Each additional person costs:
Adult £45 per half-day session.
Child £35 per half-day session (under 18 yrs)
e.g.
5 adults would be £250
or
2 adults and 5 children would be: £250 + (2x additional child @£35) total price =£320

Full-day

Your private session costs £375 for the instructor and includes up to 5 people.
Each additional person costs:
Adult £75 per full-day session.
Child £55 per full-day session (under 18 yrs)
e.g.
4 Adults & 4 children would be: £375 + (3x additional child @£55) total price =£540

Each private half-day activity costs £250 for the instructor and includes up to 5 people.
Adult £40 per half-day session.
Child £30 per half-day session (under 18 yrs)

Example: 2 adults and 5 children would be: £250 + (2x additional child @£30) total price £310

For groups up 5 People select the activity date and book.
